Dar Hafsa Bed & Breakfast - Fes

The kids loved the daily breakfast and exploring nearby shops in the Medina. The beautifully decorated rooms were tidy. The staff even arranged a fantastic tour to Chefchaouen.

My children wished there were more outdoor space for playing.

Really enjoyed the place, had a such great stay out of his night. I stayed at the triple room with roof top view. Exceptionally comfortable beds, the staff were lovely and nice. The hotel had a very central location in the common areas of the Dar.

The room provided a cozy atmosphere with intricate Moroccan decor and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom, while functional, could use a bit more design flair but it served its purpose adequately.

Navigating through the narrow alleys to reach this place is quite the exercise, especially at night when the confusion can be frustrating. Expect to spend some time figuring out directions, and those with knee issues should be prepared for narrow, steep staircases. The small packets of soap and shampoo seem outdated. Dispensers would be a better fit for the contemporary traveler.

The positive overall impression overlooks the fact that here and there something needs to be checked, e.g. a wobbling tap.

The owner and his team were cute and shared great local tips. Breakfast was a delight with freshly baked pastries. The riad's decor felt authentically Moroccan.

The location was favourable, around 10-15 minutes walk from Medersa Bouanania Seminary. Booked a room with an open ceiling. The daily service was friendly.

Absolutely perfect location in the Old Medina with views of the Medina and mountains.

Staying at Dar Hafsa was a real delight. The architecture is gorgeous. The hospitality was out of this world. The owner, Abdul Karim, were very good. He personally guided us through the Medina when we wanted to buy a leather jacket, translating. The roof terrace offers fine views of Fes, and we loved enjoying breakfast there. Speaking of breakfast, it was extensive and varied-fresh local bread and pastries filled our plates. A minor downside was the bathroom. It lacked an enclosed shower, made things a bit tricky. The cozy and clean room, along with the attentive service, made up for it.

Attractive hotel that has absolutely perfect location on good restaurants. Beautifully decorated and high-class room, tiled bathroom with a bathtub. Good service, very amiable staff. Large and generous breakfast with pastries, way too much food and mint tea - well worth the money.

The best part was the cute feel, thanks to Abdul and Aziz! The decor is stunningly Moroccan, and breakfast left me wanting more of those delicious pastries! Just a bit tricky finding it at night 😅

The genuine hospitality from Abdul Karim and the staff was amazing, ensuring every question was answered, and guest comfort was prioritized. Breakfasts were plentiful, and the beautifully restored riad was a perfect retreat.

Minimal outdoor space.

This was just a suitable option for a short interlude in Fes with fantastic value for money. I really appreciated how the owner packed me a small travel bag of Moroccan food and fruit when I had to leave early. Make sure to get clear directions before arrival.
